Lending a helping hand to a loyal client

We have been providing PR support to legal practice Slater Heelis for many years and were delighted when they recently asked us for interim help with their social strategy, content creation and management of their various social platforms.

Their brief is simple … improve follower numbers, improve engagement rates and the overall performance of each platform.

As we already handle their PR activity, it’s great to be managing their social channels, too, as it will result in a more seamless service, more consistent experience for their prospective and existing clients, and also gives us an opportunity to introduce more impactful campaigns.

Although we’re covering all of their departments, including family, property, employment and crime, one general brand awareness campaign has already proved particularly popular on social media …

Although the firm was originally founded in 1773, nearly 250 years ago, it opened its first office in Sale a mere 100 years ago!

Understandably proud of its heritage, the partners were keen for us to mark this anniversary. They were able to provide us with some wonderful archive photos of their iconic offices in the heart of Sale town centre from when they first opened.

In order to bring these to life, we took photographs from the very same places and merged them into short films that transitioned from then to now.

Perfect for social media, the films have proved extremely popular and have attracted lots of engagement and positive comments.

We’ve often talked about the growing importance of using video on social channels. The fact that the posts for Slater Heelis featuring film have the greatest engagement serves to emphasise the point.
