Inside Track series firmly established

Earlier this year we helped the corporate finance team at national accountancy practice UHY Hacker Young Manchester create, launch and manage a series of seminars aimed at business owners considering their future strategy … whether that be an exit or an acquisition.

Branded ‘Inside Track’, the inaugural event was aimed specifically at owners of recruitment businesses and was a definite success.

Last month saw us present the second event in the series.Entitled, ‘Is PE for me?’, our target audience this time was owners of businesses with a £20-£40m turnover.

From designing and distributing ‘Save the date’ invitations to promoting the event on social media and in the press, we worked hand in hand with the partners and marketing team at UHY to make the event a success.

Yet again, it was very well attended.Branded digital screens, pop-up displays and literature ensured everyone knew it was a UHY Hacker Young event.

As well as receiving great feedback about the speakers (James Bracewell, MPM Products; Daniel Freed, YFM Equity Partners; and Fiona McKay, Lightbulb Leadership Solutions), it was extremely satisfying to see the event take on a networking life of its own with many connections made between the guests.

Our videographer captured it all and the final film is now being used in UHY’s wider marketing activity.

We’re now turning our attention to the next topic, confident that ‘Inside Track’ has now become an established entity.
