Game of Thrones location stars in latest PR campaign from RMS

Established in 1736, William Clark & Sons is one of the oldest companies in the world (23 years older than its Irish compatriot Guinness).

Known for supplying fabrics to prestigious fashion brands, including Burberry and many Savile Row tailors, the company appointed Altrincham-based RMS to launch its first venture into the interior textiles market, under the brand name Earthed.

RMS put together a fully integrated PR and advertising campaign to ensure the first fabric range from the brand is seen by retail buyers, interior designers and home owners across the UK.

Managing Director Ruth Shearn comments:

“It was essential we positioned Earthed as a quality brand from the off. We had to create ‘stop you in your tracks’ work and our creative team has done just that.

“Following a photoshoot in Ireland, which included a session at the iconic Dark Hedges made famous by Game of Thrones, we produced full page advertisements for leading lifestyle magazines.

“Next came the launch mailer, for which we sourced wooden crates which we filled with little pots containing fabric samples – the fabrics are so beautiful, we wanted them to take centre stage and speak for themselves.

“Now, we’re well on with media relations and digital marketing activity to keep the brand forefront of mind. Early indications are that Earthed will be a huge success and we’re already excited about working on the next collection.”

Over the years, the agency has built a strong reputation for its work with manufacturers and lists among its clients Warburtons, Swizzels, Character World and Townscape Products.
