Another maritime sector website launched by RMS

RMS has cemented its presence in the maritime sector with the launch of two websites for GasLog, a £1.15 billion capitalised international owner, operator and manager of liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers.

Quoted on the New York Stock Exchange, GasLog appointed RMS after seeing the agency’s work with other maritime sector clients including the SaveOurSeafarers campaign, which raised global awareness of Somali piracy.

GasLog appointed RMS to design and build a website to better reflect the company’s position as a successful and ambitious global company.

Managing director Ruth Shearn, said:

“We were thrilled to be awarded this project.
“From a design perspective, it was essential that the home page made a big impact. GasLog is proud of its fleet so we decided to major on the vessels by incorporating a ‘big and bold’ video on the home page and by featuring strong imagery throughout. This leaves visitors with a strong impression of GasLog as a modern and dynamic company.
“Technically, the site pulls in real time data from Nasdaq about the company’s share price and allows for automatic updating of SEC filings and investor news.
“It also incorporates a live feed showing where each of the company’s 27 vessels are around the world.
“GasLog has ambitious plans for continued growth so the careers section was especially important.”

On completion of the main site, RMS created a similar site for GasLog Partners, a company recently spun out from GasLog Ltd and separately listed on the NYSE.
