A film reel speaks a thousand words

Our client Aptus Utilities Ltd designs, builds and installs gas, water, electricity and street lighting infrastructure for housing developers and construction clients.

Case studies form a successful part of their sales and marketing activity.  Given the physical nature of what they do, we proposed that they elevate their case studies from the written word and bring them to life with short films instead.

A few weeks ago, our very own in-house videographer and licensed drone pilot went to Great Heck in North Yorkshire.

He followed the 11km route taken by Aptus when it installed gas and electricity mains to the Thomas Armstrong concrete block factory – the largest facility of its kind in the world – and captured some dramatic footage to convey the size and complexity of the project.

Editing is an artform and the footage was whittled down to a 3-minute video before animations, overlays, graphics and music were added.

If you feel a filmed case study would boost your marketing activity, do get in touch.
