“Media relations, drafting award entries and email marketing have been our core routes to market”
Our activity has undoubtedly put WestBridge Capital on the map, helped in no small part by a rousing endorsement we secured from the business editor of The Times, who concluded:
“For a first-time fund, it is a fine achievement. We wish them well.”
WestBridge has picked up many corporate finance awards following submissions written by us, while open rates of the newsletter we create and distribute remain consistently at 35% (15% higher than the average for the financial sector).
The fact that WestBridge successfully invested its first Fund and is close to completing a second fundraising is testimony to the success of our efforts.
WestBridge Capital is a private equity house that typically invests in profitable, fast growing UK SMEs with enterprise values of £10m to £20m.
The partners approached us in 2010 after they had raised an investment fund of £50m (no mean feat given the economic conditions at the time).
They wanted us to put them on the radar of corporate finance professionals, management teams, institutional and private investors, with the message that they were ‘open for business’ and had money to invest.
Media relations, drafting award entries and email marketing have been our core routes to market.
