Great design is what turns information into comprehension. Planning, in itself, is functional. But design is what brings it to life in the consumer’s mind. It’s what forces them to see the tired and familiar with fresh and interested eyes.
That’s why good design is good business. And it’s why we are eternally curious about your business, your customers and how they interact so we can find ways to smooth the path between the two.
How we approach graphic design
Design is what’s left when all the stuff that’s not helping is taken away and you’re left with the naked, sharpened point that no-one can ignore. Great designers create but they know what to leave out. A famous sculptor was once asked how he could look at a huge piece of stone and turn it into an elephant. He replied, “I just chip away all the parts that don’t look like an elephant.”
We approach design in exactly the same way. We make everything as simple as it needs to be but no simpler.
We don’t dress it up into something it’s not and we don’t play the creative martyr over ‘the idea’. The idea is a tool for your business, and either it works or it doesn’t. We’ve delivered commercial results to law firms, accountancy practices and B2B/B2C clients across multiple sectors and as far as we’re concerned, if it works, it’s good creative.
In the same way as you sharpen a pencil, we never forget that our creativity has a point.
