In order to communicate this and keep customers abreast of the latest news from the industry in an impactful and engaging way, we introduced a company newsletter which we named WayPoint (the nautical term for a set of coordinates).
Researched, written and designed by us, WayPoint goes to V.Group’s customers and employees across the world.
Since being appointed by the company’s senior executive team in 2020, we have produced nine editions. Alongside interviews with key personnel and customer profiles, we have also researched and written articles covering a host of topics affecting the shipping industry, including recruitment, decarbonisation and sustainability and digitalisation.
Learning and writing about these topics is one of the most enjoyable and fascinating aspects of our work – fair to say, we are never lost for something to talk about at a party!
