Anniversary catalogue for Clark Art
Their latest brief was extra special, as they were called on to produce a bumper catalogue to celebrate the gallery’s 20th exhibition.
Over the years, Clark Art has promoted the works of dozens of artists.Rather than single out the work of one to put on the cover, our designers opted for a simple word cloud featuring the names of all the artists who’ve exhibited at the gallery over the years.It’s a pretty impressive list that includes Adolphe Valette, Helen Bradley, Harry Rutherford, John Thompson and, of course, L S Lowry.
The XX-page catalogue clearly did its job, helping attract a record attendance at the opening night of the exhibition, which saw no less than 70 pieces of work sold on the night!
Good old-fashioned schmoozing still works
