Alastair Fallon, head of development, gives us an insight into his life outside work in this quick-fire interview

Where do you live?

A village called Garstang, not far from Preston.

What hobbies and pastimes do you enjoy?

If not injured, I like to get out on the bike. There are some wonderful areas to cycle around where I live. I also help coach the local U11’s rugby team.

Where do you like to eat?

I love noodles so Wagamamma, Tampopo or similar. Unfortunately, they are very few and far between where I live.

What’s your favourite tipple?

I love a Long Island Iced Tea but only on special occasions.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Listening to Marty Robbins – Gunfighter Ballads – which takes me back to my childhood and reminds me of my father.

Do you have a cherished item?

My collection of albums by The Clash. I have the original vinyl from the years they were released.

Name one song you love.

London’s Burning – The Clash.

And a film.

Apocalypse Now.
