Campaign: Rebranding a town
Name and rebrand Altrincham Business Improvement District (Altrincham BID) in line with the town’s commercial objectives.

We began by interviewing dozens of people from inside and outside the town to get their perceptions of Altrincham. We spoke with a wide range of business owners, workers, shoppers and leisure visitors.
It was clear from our findings that many people still had mixed feelings about the town, although the overriding view was it had turned a corner and was experiencing a renaissance.
We knew we needed a name that positioned Altrincham as a confident and spirited town – a name that engendered pride and positivity.
After considering dozens of potential names, we were delighted when our own personal favourite was chosen … Altrincham Unlimited.
Everyone involved in the decision-making process ‘got it’ and agreed it positions Altrincham as bright, bold and as having unlimited potential – sentiments that our design team have captured wonderfully in the new visual identity.
Our design work can be seen across the town, with the new visual identity taking pride of place across banners, posters and a wide range of promotional material.
RMS has been in Altrincham for nearly three decades and we’re extremely proud to have been involved with a wonderful project like this.
